Hace unos meses tuve la ocasión de participar haciendo storyboards y algún que otro diseño para un anuncio que al final ha desembocado en el trailer de una producción llamada “the Silicon Monster Hits Town” dirigida por Nico Casavecchia para Boolab TV.
Hace unos días recibí noticia de que había sido presentado también en el festival de Annecy del 2010, con lo que sirva esta pequeña actualización con fotogramas del corto…
De mi trabajo en él, os dejo unas pruebas del monstruo (luego se simplificó bastante…) y algunos paneles del storyboard. Espero que os guste… una paranoia llena de humor y acción.
A few months ago I had the chance to take part storyboarding and making a few designs for an animated commercial that finally has finished as a false trailer of a production called “the Silicon Monster Hits Town” directed by Nico Casavecchia for Boolab TV. The fact is that now, this short has been presented to an international festival Teaserland.com and the thing works based on votes. Then, if you would like to take part on these votes beside of viewing the video, you could do both things through this link.
Of my work in it, I post here a few tests of the monster (then it was simplified a lot due to the short timing of the production…) and some panels of the storyboard. I hope that you like it … a madness full of humor and action.

I was wondering, where the full short? All I can find is the teaser and I know I’ve seen it in full because I remember it not having a voice over or the movie monster title cards?
Hi! Thanks for posting! The shortfilm really doesn’t exist. It started as a commercial for a very important sport label but the final message didn’t like too much but yes the art inside… so finally, production and the director decided to re-use all the work creating this “fake” trailer with the goal to participate in a shortfilm contest… Unfortunatelly, as far as I know, this film never existed.
